Clinton Road: Proceed with caution.

Clinton road in West Milford is famous for it's paranormal status. From snowing in July to seeing a satanic ritual this road has it all. People have reported being chased out by black trucks, that suddenly disappear as the reach the main road.
An odd report is someone saying it was the middle of July and they went down Clinton Road and to their surprise it was snowing! Can you imagine snow in the middle of July in seventy degree weather?
A story is that a little boy died on Dead Mans Curve and if you throw a penny of the bridge it's thrown right back to you. Although i have never tried it myself, it would be amazing (yet creepy) if the penny was thrown back.
Other people reported seeing a park ranger on the road either patrolling or telling them that the things they read in Weird New Jersey is not true. The odd thing is, park rangers haven't patrolled there for years. Who are the "park rangers" then?
People have seen a grey wolf with red, or yellow eyes lurking in the bushes at nightime, or even in the daytime. Is this really a wolf? Or is it a trick of the light?
A legend has it that professional killers have dumbed their victims body in the woods around Clinton Road (which has happened once I believe. Creepy huh?)
Rumor has it, that (if your unlucky enough) if you come to a part of the road with a tree blocking your path you should turn around immediately before the natives of Clinton Road and the surrounding woods cut down another one and trap you to eat you. True or not, that's still creepy to think about traveling down a dark road, with woods surrounding it.
Others see weird people, dressed oddly, wandering the road or just standing staring at you, at weird hours of the night. Paranormal or just creeps wandering the road, that spikes the scare factor up quite a lot.
There was also a building called Cross Castle a castle that is partially burned down, and supposedly is a local hangout for albinos, and Satan worshipers to have satanic rituals. Or is it rowdy teenagers drinking and having a good time?
Activities of the KKK have also been suspected, and supposedly some people living on the road are still active KKK members.
If you go to Clinton Road, remember these three rules: Never get out of the car at night, DON'T stop for anyone or anything, and proceed with caution so you don't crash at night.
And don't forget, the feeling of being watched is NOT your imagination.
