The ghost of the unsinkable Molly Brown
August 24th 2010 06:48
The famous Molly Brown of the early 1900's, who was made famous by surviving the sinking of the Titanic, maybe still lurking around her old home in Denver, Colorado. Her real name is Margaret Tobin Brown and she was a socialite in her day. She traveled the world and was very well known in wealthy circles. She was also known as being very flamboyant, which was not typical of the women of her day. Apparently after her death in 1932 she still has a flare for showing up.
Although she spent little time at her home in Denver, a ghostly woman has been seen on occasion there. Other sightings include a ghost cat, which is thought to be Molly's pet and James, Molly's husband. The mansion is now a museum and it is open to the public.
