Heather O'Rourke was the young actress that played the girl, Carol Ann, in all 3 of the Poltergeist movies. She died tragically at the age of 12 from a blocked small intestine that went misdiagnosed. During her short lifetime she appeared in numerous TV shows, commercials and other movies.
She had a reoccurring role on the TV comedy, "Happy Days." Happy Days was filmed at Paramount Studios, stage 19. There are many stage hands that tell stories of Heather loving to climb the cat walks above the stage and playing on them. They remember her laughter and the sounds of her running on the cat walks.
After she died, the incidents of strange happenings at stage 19 began. Tour guides and security personal tell stories of hearing laughter when no one is around and some have said they have seen a child playing on the stage when no one is suppose to be in the building. They could not locate the child after she ran from them. There is one story of the sitcom "Wings" being filmed in that same sound stage and while filming, a child appears in the background of one scene. The child was not suppose to be in the film and when the film editors asked around who the child was, Heather's name came up. I do not know if the film clip was saved or ended up on the cutting room floor but it might be worth a shot to Google it and see if someone has it somewhere.
